To fulfill legal requirements, AKD has developed the AKD TrackID system as a key component in implementing a traceability system at the national level. The AKD TrackID system ensures the availability and feasibility of all traceability system functionalities prescribed by Commission Implementing Regulation 2018/574. The solution supports the registration of all economic operators, as well as the automated and manual receipt of requests for issuing codes, their delivery, and the generation of reports.
AKD is the first designated issuer of unique identifiers in the EU and the first issuer to have implemented a traceability system in a full-scale production environment. In addition to the Republic of Croatia, AKD TrackID is applicable in other EU countries, i.e., by other designated national issuers of unique identifiers.
Basic functionalities of the system:
- Templates for issuing unique identification marks and codes that enable the creation of an unlimited number of serial numbers
- Hierarchical rights management model in the system
- Product catalog with associated required attributes for production processes
- Integrated functionality for communication with primary and secondary repositories
- Centralized system administration model that enables authorization of individual functionalities at the user level
- Integrated module for internal generation of serial numbers in accordance with legal regulations
- Reporting systems by individual attributes
- Supported generation of serial numbers for aggregated packaging
- Mobile application for verification, i.e., for monitoring purposes.
